Chopping Board Masterclass
Join us at The Shed Melbourne in this Chopping Board Masterclass. Learn the very basics of woodworking from selecting sustainably sourced local hardwood timber, measuring and marking, cutting to length, laminating, flattening, sanding and finishing of your very own hardwood chopping board. Guided by one of our very talented tutors you’ll walk away with a board fit for any occasion, wether it’s a charcuterie type lunch or an after dinner cheese selection. Be the envy of your guests when you say ‘Yeah I made that!’.
The Details
The class will be run throughout the year on the first Sunday of each term. We will only put up a new date when a class is full or the booking for the current class expires.
Each student will walk away with one finished hardwood board. You’ll learn everything there is to know about making your very own chopping board.
Each student will be given their very own tub of The Shed Melbournes chopping board wax to keep your board looking fresh!
Once the course is complete you’ll then be given exclusive access to any future beginners course run at The Shed.
